Is your cat plotting to kill you? Let's be honest, the answer is yes. Before you put your furry future murderer on craigslist have a portrait done to remember them by! Cats are natural models and know how to work the camera. It's been proven, by science.

The Iron Crucible

The Iron Crucible. Even the name sounds bad ass. THAT'S BECAUSE IT IS!!! The first event was eating rocks mixed with glass shards and whoever didn't pass out from blood loss went on to the next round... maybe that part isn't true but there is no doubt that the men and women who participated in this event, put on by Iron Forged Athletics, are pure grit! During the The Crucible, teams of 2 were faced with multiple unknown events that tested their strength, endurance, and mind. I was pretending to be a photographer while assisting a real-life one. Ay Dios Mio!

I was fortunate enough to take some awesome photos for my friend Rocio this evening. I'm super stoked to see how the rest turn out post-edit. Interesting fact: If you watch certain episodes of Homeland, and look very hard, you'll see Rocio in the background. True story bro. Here's a little sample. Thanks Rocio!!

Spring is Here

Ah yes, Spring is in the air... YOU CAN'T FOOL ME MOTHER NATURE!! I'm willing to bet my first born child that we get some freak snow storm and it wipes out all these beautiful budding plants and flowers... enjoy it while it last.

Cat Shaming

BEHOLD!!! THE CONE OF SHAME!!!!! While we all hate to see our pets suffer, you have to agree that the cone always makes for a good laugh.

I don't know where my obsession with cats came from or originated. What I do know, is for as long as there are cat videos on YouTube I will be up till 2am watching them... it's a real problem. Reach For the Star

Washington DC isn’t just known as the place where they film Veep... they are also famous for their giant, terrifying statues. Suitably titled The Awakening, this particular piece features a 100 foot-tall giant emerging from the ground, his face twisted in an eternal scream.

Unbeknownst to myself, they moved this statue a few years ago from an isolated DC park to National Harbor, presumably so that more kids could walk around on his face. I happened to be in the area working on another project, and took the opportunity to snap some photos of the brute. Enjoy!

Go Outside

Even North Carolina is supposed to get some of that white stuff this week. Make the best of the nice weather and get outside! -Andy

I had a wonderful time taking photos at Redpoint Gym this weekend as the staff helped raise money for Kevin Ogar's recovery fund. I should have the photos edited and uploaded within a few days. North Carolina Veterans Park

I woke up this morning to go and take pictures of the Market House Sunrise in downtown Fayetteville... turns out it's on the 29th. Took advantage of the Sunrise and went to the North Carolina Veterans Park instead. -Andy
